Overview of Arkansas Subsidy Projects

Our current Arkansas subsidy program is EPA 319 Funds, with additional funds from the poultry companies.

The program includes litter hauled from the Illinois River and the Eucha/Spavinaw Watersheds to non-nutrient surplus watersheds (see map).

The total pay is $10/ton hauled, at the rate of $0.05 per mile per ton to the hauler and at least $2/ton to grower (the average price to the grower for BMPs coordinated hauls is $4.50/ton).

The program includes clean-out of the poultry houses
